This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had with a salon. I booked my appointment months in advance by phone. When I needed to reschedule due to being unwell, the receptionist was friendly and happy to assist — no issues, no mention of fees. Then out of nowhere, I received a call from Ashley, the salon owner, telling me I owed 50% of the service cost due to a "cancellation policy." I explained that I was rescheduling, not cancelling, and that no one had ever mentioned any policy at the time of booking or rescheduling. Her response was rude, dismissive, and frankly shocking for someone in a customer-facing business. She spoke to me condescendingly, saying I “clearly didn’t understand” and accusing me of not wanting to pay. I felt judged by my accent, as if being a foreigner meant I wasn’t capable of understanding — which is both insulting and discriminatory. It’s clear they don’t value communication, transparency, or respect. I’ve had far better, more professional service at Saks, where the staff treat clients with dignity. Avoid this place if you expect basic professionalism and courtesy. It deserves zero stars.
